Our art activity today was inspired by the famous artist
Henri Matisse's Icarus. After showing the children a photo of this famous piece of artwork, we gave the children scissors, glue sticks, scrap construction paper, and some pre-cut people shapes. The children cut out their own shapes to glue around their pre-cut people shapes to make their own version of the Icarus.
