For our Construction unit we decided to put dirt in our discovery table. We've also added some construction people, vehicles, and containers for the children to play with. It's very messy, but the children love it. The discovery table helps the children develop their fine and gross motor skills, helps improve hand eye coordination, math, science, and communication skills.
