Whole Group Activity: Sticky Tongues

For this activity we attached velcro to some party blowers and insects. The children pretended to be insect eating animals and used the party blowers as tongues to catch the insects.

Whole Group Activity: Moon Bounce

For this activity we first attached foam to the children's feet using rubber bands.  Next the kids walked over a sheet of foam egg crate that was covering other soft items like pillows and stuffed animals.  This was supposed to simulate the bouncing motion one would get while walking on the moon.

Whole Group Activity: Fashion Show

For this activity, we gave the children a large assortment of clothes to choose from.  The children dress up and then did a fashion show on teacher made runway.  The children described the clothes they were wearing while walking down the runway.
